Folk in this area attribute a strong signification to healthy and “holly” waters and springs. Many years ago, people has coming here with priest or monk on holiday for reading of prayer. Today, some people doing it by themselves or with family. “Kusan” spring is well-known for the people from around villages who coming to wash their face and painful points on body there. The same is with spring named “Beganovac”. Also, there are more springs and each of them has a different medical properties like in Veliko Selo village, spring “Tosin bunar” curable for eyes” Toponica village, spring “Sopot”, “Lipovaca” spring, “Trebez”, “Celije”, “Crkviste”…, next by the monastery of Zaova is healthy spring St. Petka. In Bozevac village we have three springs that are healthy, those are “Meljak”,” Stublina”,” Studenac česma”. In Sapine village people believe that spring named “Boskov kladenac” is healthy, so they visit it mostly around Easter days. There are also “Toplik” spring of hot healthy water in Malo Crnice village and significant place is saved for springs “Majka Marija” and “Lalicev kladenac” in Salakovac village. |
